I'm afraid it's no benefit for the Philharmonic, but New Hope is (finally!) in the last stages of development. We're now looking for some volunteers to help us fill in the gaps with some of the final bits of reconstruction and, in a few months, to start on as counselors at the shelter itself. Training for counseling begins at the end of this month, for anyone interested. We've had a few people forced to leave the shelter with the attacks and quakes last March, and we're, unfortunately, rather understaffed. Any help, either in painting or building or social work, would be greatly appreciated.
As an added incentive, students, it looks fantastic on your resume.

Darlings, I'm unsure how to put it delicately, so I'll keep it as brief as I can. Georgia's had [...] a bit of a fall. She's all right and healing nicely, but she'll be off her feet for a few days -- unable to make that memorial, I'm afraid. When she's feeling up to it, I'll let everyone know the hospital she's been taken to; but for the moment, I'd like to give her some time to recuperate before people come rushing in with get-well bottles of cognac. Knowing her, she'll be back on her feet within the week, but you know I'm a terrible worrier, my dears. I'm heading over now, so do let me know if there's any messages you'd like to pass on.

I think it goes without saying at this point, but welcome back to Crossover, everyone. We're still working to get everything in the offices up and running, but (obviously) we are officially back online. Thank you -- sincerely -- to everyone who helped with the efforts.
And while it's not quite Miranda's muffins or Georgia's cooking, I do have a couple bottlings of Riesling that need to be drunk, my fellow office workers.

I'm posting from the hospital, so I'll have to make this brief -- not that many of you, I'm sure, will read it, considering the crowd that's arrived to positively terrorize my doctors into letting you see me. Visiting hours, apparently, are for lesser men.
More importantly: I'm fine. They're keeping me on a steady stream of drugs, so I'll be somewhat out of commission for a few days, but otherwise I'm healing nicely. I suppose this will teach me to fight back against muggers, yes? I ought to be madder about the whole thing, I think, but you'd be surprised how amiable a dose of morphine will make you.
Thank you for all the well-wishes and threats of trampling over Moira to get to me. I'm at St. Vincent's, but I'll be home by the weekend.
